120 MNLF men joins MILF

1. Can you join Jihad with out flag?
2. Shifting from N to I?
3. Loyalty to God or loyalty to the group?

Apparently, more commanders and members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) see their rival Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) as a better organization, prompting 120 fully armed MNLF men to jump ship.
Transferring loyalty from the MNLF to the MILF, or vice versa, may not pose any problem, particularly that the founders of the MILF led by the late Ustadhz Salamat Hashim were original MNLF leaders and members themselves.
Hashim developed irreconcilable differences with MNLF founding Chairman Nur Misuari while they were in exile in Tripoli, Libya, in the 1970s, forcing the former to jump ship and establish the MILF in mid-1970s.
While there are MNLF leaders joining the MILF, Misuari had also claimed recently that many leaders and members of the rival Moro group had also joined him.
It this is good or bad for the Mindanao peace processes and the Bangsamoro people, only time and subsequent developments will tell.
Luwaran.com on Wednesday said MNLF Commanders Mahad I. Maharail and Abdul S. Sajili led their men in joining the MILF during a meeting on January 4 in Barangay Lihbug Kabaw, Talipao, Sulu.
They were formerly under the leadership of MNLF political officer Abuhamri Taddik.
At the meeting, the former MNLF members requested MILF officers to include them “in the ranks and file of the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF) and they manifested their desire to undergo military training designed under the MILF concept and willing to be assigned anywhere in the controlled area of the MILF.”
